Biography:
He is the Managing Director of the MSE Group, an international investment and consultancy group focusing on media, sport and entertainment properties, and has had responsibility for the marketing and strategy development of the group since 2009.Former FIFA Development Officer to CONCACAF with specific responsibility for the Southeastern Caribbean, Howard McIntosh is an investment and strategic advisor to a number of private and public sector entities and an event specialist.
Through his continued contribution to sports and development, acting as Chairman of the Jamaica Football Federation’s Technical Committee, Mr. McIntosh was appointed in 2012 as a FIFA Development Officer to the CONCACAF Confederation to help grow the sport in the region. He is a founding member of the Premier League Clubs’ Association and is a certified FIFA Match Commissioner and Coaching Instructor.
He speaks and presents on issues in sports and entertainment, including finance, governance, marketing and event management.
Mr. McIntosh, Big Mac, is well known in entertainment circles as a shrewd investor, and promoter, having put on concerts and promoted events around the world. He is regarded as one of the foremost minds in the business of music in the region. He speaks and participates in numerous seminars and conferences globally.
Prior to the MSE Group, Mr. McIntosh was an Executive Director of the Corporate Group of Companies, a diversified conglomerate based in Jamaica with holdings in financial services, media and the leisure industry. Mr. McIntosh has also held senior management positions with Citigroup (Jamaica), Continental Bank (Chicago) and the First National Bank of Chicago.
Mr. McIntosh has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BBA from Howard University. He has participated in numerous FIFA and CONCACAF courses worldwide and is a member of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and the National Black MBA Association.
Howard McIntosh was instrumental in Jamaica’s qualification to the France 98 FIFA World Cup through his role as Chairman of the Football Foundation of Jamaica and as an appointed Board member of the JFF and several committees. He is a Founding Director for the Sports Development Foundation and the Jamaica Lottery Company. His current directorships include the Sports and Entertainment Network of the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Agency for Inner-City Renewal and the Entertainment Advisory Board. Other board positions held include the Jamaica Reggaie Industry Association, the Jamaica Tourist Board, the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, the Jamaica Bankers Association, the GC Foster College for Physical Education and Sport, the Airports Authority of Jamaica (Deputy Chairman) and Howard University School of Business Board of Trustees.
Mr. McIntosh is the proud father of three children a milestone he considers his greatest achievement to date, surpassing feats such as completing his degrees and becoming a Managing Director by age 30.
