Biography:
Michelle has two ways of seeing the world:
- “Be excellent where you are on the way to where you are going;” and
- “If there is a market for your passion but no one else is doing it, maybe the world is waiting on you.”
These ways of seeing the world lead Michelle Sinclair Doyley to perform exceptionally as a Personal Portfolio Manager. However her passion is financial education and she wrote the vision down. The written vision was seen by Donna Duncan-Scott, one of the major shareholders of the JMMB Group, and she was given the opportunity of a lifetime to write a proposal and her new job description. Now she is Manager, Client Financial Education of the JMMB Group and says she does not work but enjoys her way to a paycheck.
However the journey to her passion was not a straight road and one of the roles she despised was being door to door sales person walking all day in the hot sun. However on that job she learned how to unearth both latent and blatant needs and find practical solutions to meet people’s needs. Years later it resulted in her consistently exceeding sales and revenue targets and achieving JMMB’s exceptional award every year, since the awards inception, until she left the sales team in 2014.
Michelle always demonstrated that she had her clients’ best interest at heart full stop. This resulted in most of her clients earning over four (4) times the market rates. Additionally, even in a highly competitive financial market she retained 96% of her client over the 9 year period.
She holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Human Resource Management from UTech and a (MBA) in International Business from The UWI, Mona in addition to other qualifications.
She is married to a wonderful man, Brian and her favorite song is “To God Be the Glory for the Things He has Done.”
